Notes From The Border is a series of zines written in the time of the pandemic. The narrator and creator, Isa, stands precariously in the middle ground as she reflects on the different parts of her life that have changed over the last two years.

Vision
Notes From The Border started out as a digital zine on Isa’s now-defunct Patreon. The vision was to translate the same vibe into print.

Solution
We talked about a few ways to bring Notes From The Border to life (maybe another book or a compilation of five-in-one), but eventually, we went with a collection of mini zines (in size and in content) that readers can flip through, like a note for themselves to take it easy. Each volume had a specific theme, so it was important that we highlighted each of those stories.
